Social Work department welcomes the students for study of the most challenged course which the world has ever introduced. The course comprises of social work, case study and community development including social policy, social administration, study of weaker and vulnerable sections of the society, study of resolving of social anomalies development of personalities, social legislation and many more with field works, agency placement and rural activities.

MSW is a two years Full–time post graduate degree course, affiliated to UUC . Minimum qualification is graduate in any discipline with minimum 40% of marks for general candidates and 35% for SC/ST candidates at graduation level . The course facilitates Exposure visits to different places and NGOs, Field Works for different social surveys, Rural Camps for studying socio economic exposure of rural and tribal communities , regular seminars with reputed persons and group discussion with students. Library is opened to all the post graduate students and for research scholars.
